The Role

• Build and deliver new features from concept to deployment, ensuring high quality and performance
• Manage and execute projects from start to finish, maintaining accountability for successful outcomes
• Drive major architectural and data model decisions, shaping the technical direction of our projects
• Shape and refine engineering processes to enhance development velocity, delivery quality, and overall developer experience
• Implement and advocate for best practices in testing, QA, and support, leveraging your experience to improve our approach
• Raise the bar for the team by mentoring and pairing with colleagues, contributing to a culture of active collaboration and knowledge-sharing
• Work closely with our Product Manager and designer to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes
• Participate in the hiring process, helping to identify and attract top talent to the team

• Able to show a strong commercial mindset, leveraging technical decisions to solve customer problems. This also means pushing back pieces of work that do not move the needle for our customers or do not help the company's goals
• Fix, you don’t patch. You’ve worked in an environment where the product must have 0 defects, showing an attitude of fixing the root of a problem rather than patching its symptoms
